Daylight saving is this weekend. Don’t forget about your elderly loved ones and offer to change their clocks. Often times, their clocks are hung high on a wall and they are at risk of falling if they try to change them on their own. While helping to change their clocks it may also be a good idea to check to make sure the rest of their things are working properly. Here is a small checklist to help your loved ones.
• Check that their smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors have new batteries and are functioning properly.
• Make sure they have new batteries in their flashlights
• Check their vehicle if they are still driving to make sure that their windshield wipers and tires are in good condition.
